It's merely a matter of business, bad business practices will catch up to you in the end.

As far as the internet is concerned, it may be able to reach around the globe, but we still have language barriers. I rarely see webhosts that offer English/Spanish translations, let alone support.

It's quite possible that there is a huge untouched market, kept away from European/American hosting companies for the simple fact that they can't communicate linguistically.

I have quite a few clients that have a minimal mastery of english, and I have been told the reason they seek the American/UK-English speaking companies is because companies in there native languages are still highly priced.

The "web hosting economy" if you will has not caught up to some countries.
