Proxies take a lot of CPU Usage and it cause instability on a shared server. Remember that you are not the only one using that server so when you use a lot of resources it tends to take other resources from other clients which leave other clients experiencing other issues. This is why we never allow proxies on our server because it causes a lot of problems and it can become a pain.
