Actually there were a number of blog posts by reputed telecommunication industry people that analyzed iPhone and said that as an actual
phone iPhone has a lot of catching up to do. It doesnt's support a number of standards many other cell phones do such as stereo Bluetooth, 3G compatibility, providing limited capabilities.
I mean $599 for an 8GB phone... and $60-100/mo service plans.. I'd rather buy myself a new laptop. Every 6 months.
