Logitech's Rumblepad 2 (wired or cordless) is a really great control. In my opinion it feels and acts like a PS2 controller. One thing I hate about most PC controllers is their really bulky. This ones pretty smooth.

Also, after a bit of use the controller loses that "new controller" button feel, and loosens up while still staying responsive. Feels just like a PS2 and allows for really fast gameplay without the new pad feel.
