Not only making forum signatures but make sure that the forum is somewhat related to your website. I mean don't post something on a dating forum when your site is about repairing computers.
Sometimes it is better to just answer a related question on a forum that is related to your website. Give them a little answer to the question and give the link for the complete answer, which is your website.
