In recent years many alternatives to Paypal have come on the market, but none have really been a true challenge to Paypal's market dominance.

So, I was just thinking... are Paypal still the most reliable and secure payment system out there, or are they just skidding by on name brand recognition now?

The reason I ask is because Paypal is still seemingly so far in the lead in regards to acceptance, you almost forget there are alternatives out there.

Thoughts anyone?
