I apologize for misunderstanding, I interpreted your post to mean that the company that you registered the domains through had their own control panel and that you purchased registration as part of a lifetime package.

accuurrtt's statement is correct. It may possibly have worked to go to the registrar with proof of registration after the fact.

Did the registrar lock you out of it's control panel?
