We do not retain a lawyer as such but have uses their service many times. We pay them on per case basis. Usually it will never go further then sending a legal notice. If someone sends you a legal notice and you are not at fault, appoint a lawyer and send a counter legal notice. That should usually suffice.

But a word of caution. Layers will always want the case to escalate and that the case be taken to court so that they get more work. It is ALWAYS like that.
