Gorbachev has been saying that from the very beginning of this conflict all over Russian media. Of course Americans censored everything up to this moment. They still do censor a lot of the statements by Russian officials who publicly named CNN the tool of propaganda for Saakashvili (and jeez, the amount of time he or Goergian state officials were getting versus few minutes of "protocol" commentaries by the Russians tell the story). I am actually surprised they even put this on air - they've been doing so far an excellent job of not releasing any images, statements by Moscow. In fact, on a couple of occasions I found CNN anchors to be rather rude with high Moscow officials during their interviews, almost angrily putting words in their mouths.

And reading the above article, it is funny how they still edit the stories and show parts of the video interview only where he talks about more beneficial to American side of things, like "cold war is coming back", blah-blah-blah...

Even former Georgian president Eduard Shevarnadze has made public statements about Saakashvili's unstable, childish, war-like mentality. If you remember, in 2005 Georgian president did try to start the war, but back then Bush administration quickly put him in place and literally told him to behave.

Its alright though, nobody really takes Americans seriously in Russia, especially Moscow. The people did, do and will continue to dislike the American system and U.S. administration's self-proclaimed role of world police. The Europe is way more important to the Russians and now a lot of the European countries realizing the Russian side of story is the only one without exaggeration. And their reaction has been way more careful about the conflict. Although its important to mention that Europe depends on Russia energy-wise.

Actions and orders of Saakashvili has not only damaged his own reputation but ruined the credibility of every Georgian government office that has been feeding the press with lies and disinformation throughout the process, and still continue to do so.
