Was seeing if there was anyway to filter what shows up when clicking the "New Posts" link. Right now all you see are posts from the advertising sections, is there a way to filter those out?

Good idea, it can be flooded with them all the time.

Would be nice to filter it out, sure it is possible.

Interesting idea. I'll have to ask a professional developer.

I usually screen all posts, so the ability to see advertising threads when I hit "New Posts" is of big value to me, as well as those interested in seeing them.

We could probably try to experiment by offering an additional filter to narrow search for new posts within the community forums only.

Thing is, it will cut out all the adds for all of us, who advertise, cutting out our audience.

So as it has been said, an addition filter would be better than replacing.
