Hi everyone.

I need some help and advice. Basically I use Paypal for all my transactions, however I have a user, who cannot use Paypal to buy anything, even using his CC.

So now I'm wondering if there is anyother business out there, that uses something similar to PP. I know 2checkout has some fee just for making an account. I'm looking for something that's not to costly, because I only need to make this one transaction most likely.

Thanks.

Why can't the user use PayPal?

Probably one of the following reasons:

1. He is under age.

2. His account is limited with unresolved issues

3. He lives in a country which doesn't accept paypal.

Well good luck. Your options are slim 2CheckOut does cost $49.00 to register and there is transaction charge on top of that. For the UK Nochex is great, Authorize Merchant Account is the best option. All other payment processors are pointless whether its E-Gold, WorldPay etc.

Why not just stick to simple Bank Transfer?

I might try WesternUnion, people have advise to try them.

Basically I always use paypal for transactions. However, this user says when he uses his Business CC, Paypal always asks him to create an account, if he tried to pay with his CC via Paypal.

He also says, he can only pay with his credit card, so unless a bank transfer can be done via CC, that seems like it won't work.

I heard of people using moneybookers in countries where paypal is not available.

how about escrow? I believe there is no start up fee... and you can transfer funds to your bank account after or paypal?

BTW, I'm selling a domain name to this user.

Western Union and Domain Names? Very Bad Idea.

Escrow. Very good and recommended and the chances of gettng screwed are slim.

Doesn't Paypal have just a basic credit card payment service that anyone can use and you don't need an account for?

yeah, but he said when he tries that, it picks up his business creditcard he's using and asks him to create a paypal account.

Do you trust this guy? This sounds very odd to me and I would be very suspicious.

I have no direct experience with Western Union, but I don't trust it. A lot of places strongly recommend against taking Western Union as a payment which is enough of a warning for me.

Any recommendations for an escrow service? I would be interested in looking at something like that as a payment option.

For a hosting service? No, nor I don't think it has ever been done before or ever will. Escrow acts as a neutral person and goes through a rigorous verification before paying you. I should say that onto of the price tag there are additional selling fees which can forwarded to the buyer or the seller.

Escrow is best for Domain Names, Cars and Real Estate
