Here are a few of the more popular ones. I have heard complaints about Modernbill being a little to intense for what the average user would need it for.

Modernbill
WHM Autopilot
Clientexec
WhoisCart
LPanel
DRAMS

Clientexec? Good to know, how fast were you able to recoup the cost of the software in your business?

Well we added clientexec as a recurring cost, as we paid for the monthly rental scheme until we had enough retained profit to purchase the license fully

Very nice. Sounds like you went about it the right way. How much was it as a rental?

Hello!

We use Drams. The software is very good, and does what we need it to do.

I believe the rental was $9.95 per month at the time, well worth the money. It makes managing your business and ticket support alllll so much easier!

I looked into PHPcoin at one time and it did not seem too impressive.

We have used WHMAutopilot and currently are using Modern bill

WHMAutopilot is great but limited billing software in its current state. I would have been happy if the just would have added domain only sales to the current release.

I can say that Modern bill has everything you could ever want it to. It does however take a little longer to setup and make work correct. What I can say is once you Modern bill to work don’t upgrade unless you are ready to troubleshoot all the issues the upgrades seem to create.

Anybody ever use Ubersmith? We may be moving to it if Modern bill doesn’t create an auto upgrade script or something to reduce the pain of an upgrade.

What problems have you had upgrading Modern Bill? I am actually looking into using that for billing.

Ryan,

I did test DRAMS as well but never used it in a live environment it seemed very solid at the time we tried it out.

I was never able to see it skinned to look like anything other then the standard DRAMS site.

Are you using it now?
