Tom: You will find that most people will differ in their opinions on this. Although I think more would lean towards Modernbill. I have not yet used either of them but from what I've read in several boards, etc Modernbill has TONS of features and maybe even TOO many features - it can be difficult for a new user to set it up and understand all its functions. If you visit WHT and do a search for this, you will come across many threads where people debate this issue. That should help you out.

Personally I think modernbill is a better product but WHMAP is catching up fast. They next release after 2.0 may just be better than MB.

I think it is more a matter of personal taste, but from what I heard, ModernBill is a bit more technologically advanced and it is easier to work with.

I prefer modernbill. I use it myself and sometime I just think and say to my self "Wow. How do they do that"

It all depends on your personal preference, your needs and so on.

Just because it's ModernBill is better for one person does not mean it will be better for you. Just because ClientExec is better for another does not mean it is for you. Just because WHMAP is better for someone else, doesn't mean it is best for you.

Don't choose something because it has the most features, because it is cheaper, etc.
Always compare the two and look to see which one does what you need done easier and better. There are always differences between two products, and one may be better for you than the other while it may be the other way around for another person - one of the reasons I don't like threads asking "Which is better? A, B or C?" .... because for me or the person around the corner it could be A, while for you it could be B and for the rest of the world it could be C.

There is no best.... there is only the best for you.

And to add, the develpers of this WHMAP are on their own forums quite often to aid you... therefore, the support is fast and accurate. I think I will stick with them.

I use and like WHMAP, price is better and like others said, support is good.

One script I like is whois.cart. Look them up. I wish I had seem them before I purchased WHMAP.

One of my customers installed whois.card and said it was crap. Might want to stay away from it

I totally love WHMAP. I have Whois.Cart as well, and while it's very feature rich and definately worth the money, the interface and setup is just not as nice as WHMAP.
