What payment processors do you use most often?

I regularly use Paypal and 2Checkout and have also used NoChex.

When purchasing items (either software or tangable goods) what do you prefer? I prefer to just use my credit card on somewhere like Worldpay or 2Checkout.

Have a look at the new Nochex payments page that will be coming soon.

I have edited this one to fit the style for http://www.xprs.co.uk

https://secure.nochex.com/?email=xprs&amount=1.00

(The images are slow to load because I can't be bothered to upload them to a secure server so they're being parsed by Nochex to display via a secure link. This is automatic, when you enter your header and footer HTML it strips out insecure images and replaces the URL with a secure URL)

The look and feel is completely different to how NoChex is at the moment and allows for easier card processing without the need for users to sign up.

Obviously, I'm a little biased though.

Thats a lot of customisation there! I had to double check the URL to see if it was actually loading as part of your site or on the nochex site.

I believe that will help Nochex as many people want their payment pages to integrate better with their site.

That's what we're aiming for. We even took off the confirmation page so the flow of the payment redirects directly back to the merchant site. (No "click here to continue" button)

I'd say:

65% Authorize.net
30% Paypal
5% Check

We dropped 2CO a few months ago. Their payments were just too slow, the pages were not customizable anymore and overall support took weeks to get a response.

I have to agree there. It is one processor I am ready to drop. I am not sure on the payments being too slow because they do not come to me personally and I dont see that side. But for support... wow. They even close my tickets out after 4 or 5 days with an automated response saying this ticket has been open for 4 days with out a response. Please re open if there is still a problem. Crazy!

It was slow in my opinion because they paid on the 1st and 15th of every month. I've since been with Authorize and the nightly deposits are awesome

That sounds very good. I will be checking them out and searching for reviews.

Authorize.net and PayPal work quite well - our payments are 50/50 these days.

I think it depends upon your location and need, Though authorize.net is a gateways not merchant account providers. 2 checkout and worldpay are preferable.
