I'm looking into payment processors again, specifically because I want to reduce the fees that I face in getting the money to the UK. I came across eGold, and am ashamed to admit that the fees schedule is just weird! I really don't get it.

If you understand, can you translate to layman's terms?

eGold has been investigated a lot. Mostly becuase they were never a registered company. Remember reading an article about the investigations on yahoo news. Also, people tend to use eGold becuase it is easy to scam someone using it. I would never trust anyone who would buy a service using eGold (no offense to anyone who does use it.) I used to offer it as a payment processer and almost 90% of sales were fraud.

try moneybookers or paypal Both are good payment processors.

As Romes said, e-gold seems to pick up a lot of fraud. There are better payment processors for you to accept payments from.

Why don't you try Moneybookers? They are really legitimate site... I received and send money through this to site. Money booker have the cheapest charge for sending money to your account or credit card. If you want to use Western union to be the receiving point, they also offer that service.
