I think Paypal is great for Payments actually, particularly when the customer has the money in his account balance, so he can just send it right over without delays or extravagant fees. Although just a regular Paypal payment has fees too, they are usually nowhere near as bad as what Credit Card fees would be.

I think accepting CC isn't that much of a hassle, and a lot of clients appreciate the extra method to pay. It's all about getting the right merchant account with the right fees suitable for your online business.

Exactly.
And yet there are so many out there that are so short sighted that they don't see the cost benefit ratio.
There really is no reason not to accept credit cards whether it is a merchant account or a third party service.

I love accepting Credit Cards for the fact that the money is recevied instantly but it can be a pain when it comes to fraud management.

If you decide to accept credit cards for an online business be very careful with your fraud verification.

Yes we accept credit and debit cards, and we could not manage without. We have limited PayPal however in that way that we only accept PayPal via 2checkout. The reason is, when a client disputes the transaction at PayPal they will refund him for 100% due to the fact it is a digital good, not 2checkout, they will dispute with the customer and you keep your money in most cases (85% for us)!

Accepting CC is essential when running an online business. Some people simply don't like PayPal or have problems with it. If we didn't accept credit cards, I'm sure it would hurt our business.

If you do not accept CC, then you are missing out on a lot of sales. There are also good 3rd party alternates such as AlertPay and 2CO if you cannot afford a direct account.

Having credit card as a payment method is very essential nowadays, here at Premix Hosting, we also accept paypal and 2co payment method

If we use credit card as a payment method then we will need to prepare and have a knowledge regarding the fraud case.

Since most of the cases happen over the internet, we have couple of staffs assigned to handle the verification and fraud case

Accepting credit card brings a lot of customers to you, because people don't trust online payment methods yet.

Most of our clients pay with credit cards and we think that not accepting credit cards will make you lose some number of clients.
