I'm currently using WHMCS and I must say I really like it, but I have a main problem with it that WHMCS can not solve. So I thought I ask around if anyone knows a more suitable solution.

What I really need are things like:

• Pay for XX months and get XX months free
• Multiple free domains while ordering
• script installation while the order is setup

in addition to that all the features we're currently having in WHMCS would be nice. But the main problem is that we have a hosting plan where the customer gets 4 free domains and we have to manually setup the domains all the time because WHMCS can't do that, and right next comes the problem that we can't have coupons in WHMCS where the customer pays for 1/2 months and gets 3 or 6 or any other number of months free. Is there anything on the market we can do that with?

Sort answer I think is no, although check what client exec can offer, I think its the next best billing platform

no CE does not do that at all, it is very basic. Maybe AWBS or any other suggestion?

I believe that Clientexec has these features. Could anyone confirm?

You should be able to get a custom module done for it maybe...

As for client exec, it puts me off buying anything. I hate it with a passion. Try to avoid it if you can.

Hostbillapp is a nice looking product. We use Clientexec but I'm not sure it can do what you are asking, I don't see any way of executing a script on creation, or a way for registering multiple domains.

You may not be able to do that without any custom modification. What you are requiring doesn't really fall into the normal ideas of billing manager. So I hardly doubt, some pre-made billing manager going to be able to offer you such.

Thanks will check out uber. I'm just frustrated with WHMCS because I like it but does not do it, and the people at WHMCS say it can't be done with their software at the moment... and no CE does not do it at all, it is tooo basic.

Yeah WHMCS is perfect other than those flaws. You should look around and see if there are any mods for something like this.

And You're saying that WHMCS has no flats? It HAS a lot (code is still with the same core since 2005 ! )

In terms of WHMCS 4, Usually custom mods are easy to get built for WHMCS and Matt giving a nice hands on in most cases. Have you tried to ask him to assist you with a custom script for your domain needs?

Contact whmcs and ask them to quote you price on custom coding. That's the best solution. We did it for a custom plugin and it worked out really well. Easy to install too. We just uploaded the file via ftp and that was it :-)
