I just finished integrating 2CheckOut as a payment processor on our website and was wondering if any other hosts here on HD are also using 2CheckOut to process payments. If you do... What are your thoughts on it? Do a good portion of your clients use it instead of the other payment options you offer?

I use 2co and haven't had any problems.
My clients are split pretty much evenly between 2co and Paypal.

We use 2CheckOut and PayPal.

PayPal is slightly more popular among our customers.

Right off the top of my head I can say,

Good thing about 2CO:
1- They really do a good job in screening out fraud transactions.

Bad things:
1- They transfer the funds once a week, with PayPal we get them instantly.
2- They have slightly higher rates than PayPal.
3- You need to have a different account for every domain/activity you run.

But overall, it is a good choice.

Yes, almost all of our customers pay using PayPal also, and a few here and there that use AlertPay. However, I want to reach to those buyers that do not want to use PayPal or create an account with AlertPay, and just want to use their credit cards without any fuzz. That's what attracted me to 2CO.

I'm also looking at CDG Commerce, but wanted something that would be close enough to a merchant account, without having to go through all the PCI Compliance steps, yet. The weekly payments can be a drag, but at least it goes straight into your business bank account, so waiting a week or two is really not that bad.

Yes, I did. Although, you can still use 2CO as a sole proprietor if you're not a Corporation or LLC, yet.

I haven't tried it yet, I heard that 2checkout is mostly used by customers who's paypals are suspended or can't have one

We are using 2CO since October 2010 and have decided to stop receiving direct PayPal payments. We are now receiving them via 2CO.
Now, 40 to 60 % of our sales are paid via 2CO. The rest is paid via MoneyBookers, AlertPay, or Wire Transfer.
We had some small problems with them (3 chargebacks from fraudulent customers).

2Co gives you benefit due to their excellent fraudulent checking team. So, charge back ratio will be cut to almost 0%.

The biggest problem right here, we get a few chargebacks, but as far as fraud goes - their system is top notch, but chargebacks are more irritating in my opinion.

Can you specify exactly what problems you had with them? So far I'm loving the service and haven't had any problems.

The problem of chargebacks have nothing to do wih 2CO.
This problem exists, whatever is your payment processor/gateway !
With 2CO and its fraud review, you get less chargebacks than the other processors, but the real problem is they charge you 15 $ if you want to challenge a chargeback with the issuer bank.
