Hey,
Im doing a bit of research at the minute.
Im looking for some suggestions on what hosting companies want in an offline billing system for managing their clients, packages, invoices and anything else which would help the running of your business.

I already have a beta out of software and everything in the beta is now tested and fully functional so its time to add more to it

Please reply with anything you think should be included for management offline and anything you think could be integrated with an offline system, eg. allow customers to edit their account information online, then update the offline program.

I would really appreciate any suggestions as it would be great help in improving the program.

Thanks
John

Would you mind sharing the progame??

Also i would suggest you have a online place where users can update into, pay for services, etc and it would update offline one.

I'd want total automation in a nice neat package - the less work I have to do as an employee the better.

With that said - look for things in your program which take time to complete. Billing is usually the big one. The less typing I need to do, the better.

I'm not sure about another 'offline' billing system - at present we use Quickbooks for all offline accounting - I wouldn't imagine moving to another billing system, especially when Quickbooks does it all already. Online Tax filing is by far the most impressive feature.

It should be integrated with the major online billing systems.
ie: you should be able to import information from Modernbill or WHM.

Yeah I think something that would grab the info from WHMAP, Modernbill, WhoisCart, etc. would be cool. Or just a program to convert that to QuickBooks

I actually have version 1 of this out.
www.BillVoice.com if anyone wants to try it out.
This is offline billing only, but I can do something so you can integrate online systems to import client info.
The program is free to download.

Works on a local or remote mysql database.

What kind of licence is your software on at the moment?

Does it generate paper invoices that can be printed? If so is it possible to brand them?

I can't see that info in screenshots/find it on the site.
