Sorry I should have said "If you have a lot of money you want to burn" not "can't afford" .

The question you asked is very vast to be answered. What are your exact needs that are supposed to be accomplished with the billing system?

If this can be elaborated then the reliability of suggestions you receive will be really helpful.

Every company should experiment with pricing though I do agree, they changed their pricing way to often.

I think they were finding their market. They could have gone the same route WHMCS went (and in my opinion, really taken a significant percent of market share) but instead they went the more enterprise route, less clients with a higher profit margin.

I don't think they have changed their pricing recently so I guess we can assume they have finally found the right fit.

1. WHMCS: fully automated billing system solution for both hosting and others.

2. Blesta

Hands down, WHMCS. Why? A few reasons

#1: Smarty templating . I can't get enough of smarty, I love it, have loved it for years.

#2: Extendability . I love that if I need to add something to WHMCS, I can (and have) added hooks, functionality, you name it. It's incredibly easy if you know what you're doing.

#3: Ease of use. Some would say it's a bit complicated, but I don't find it so much. Of course, I'm a tech, by nature, so I work through things a bit different than most
