You can also try reseller hosting providers that offer free client billing software.

There are hosts that offer Modernbill, ClientExec, WHMCS, and more...do a search for them and you will find them

I switched from clientexec to WHMCS and let me say, I am glad I did so.

2 Things:
1. WHMCS is much cheaper.
2. WHMCS has more features, and it is very user friendly and easy to use.

It also has an external support system which is a huge plus.

I agree with your second argument, but as far as billing software goes I don't think money matters.

Yeah me too, WHMCS is the best one i think, but if you want a free one

Maybe PHP Coin or Solid-State, or if it doesnt matter the design, you also can use some script named Cpanel Account Generator or something like that, is in HotScripts

It's simple actually: If you don't even have budget for billing software, you shouldn't be starting a hosting company. Period.

I also have to recommend WHMCS. I think it is worth the price even if leased. For those who use it they can all agree is one of the best out there.

Thats a great suggestion! There are a tun of host that now offer ClientExec for free or for a low fee. I currently am using ClientExec and have no issues with it.

I agree with the others when they say if you can't afford a billing script, than you might want to go over your business plan again... billing is one of the most important aspects of any hosting company. You gotta bill your clients if you want to get paid!
