BuffNet shuts down its services

Internet service and hosting provider BuffNET has shut down, with less than a day’s notice offered to their customers. Customers were thanked and notified on the 8th of this month and given just few more days before their servers were to be disconnected. The company could not be contacted for interview about their decision.

  1. Another web host bites the dust. A company like this really gives the general web hosting industry a bad reputation. By giving customers only a few days notice, some customers will not have been able to move their sites to new hosts and correctly change the DNS servers of the domains. I wonder what happened with this particular host. Did they go belly up? If anyone has any additional information then please do post in on here.
