Comcast settles lawsuit, pays $16M

Comcast, an internet and VoIP services provider has payed approximately $16 million to settle the dispute of traffic shaping methods. The company promised specific speeds and unlimited Internet access. Due to a bot, it impaired the use of some P2P file-sharing traffic. The company decided to settle the legal case that could otherwise prove to be too lengthy and too costly.
