Infosys opens Aussie data center, hires 100 employees

An Indian IT service provider Infosys Technologies has opened a data center in Australia. Last year the company signed a $450 million contract with Telstra, an Australian telecommunications firm, for which the new DC was built. Infosys Technologies expects 100 people to work at the data center, 90 of whom were already hired.

GoDaddy builds new customer service center, hires 60 people

Domain registrar GoDaddy.com is expecting to open its new customer care center it is currently building in Iowa. The company plans to hire approximately 60 people (locally) in order to support the new customer service office.

LeaseWeb’s customer support department gets upgraded

The customer support department of LeaseWeb has been upgraded in response to a survey of over 1,300 customers who filled out the survey. Results showed a 20% increase in “fully satisfied” customers.
