RezZiliant‘s hosting division is now a property of data center and managed services provider Access Northeast, increasing its base of New England customers for a while. Access Northeast now has four facilities which have a total of 40,000 square feet of space. Other technical resources still belong to the software division of RezZilliant.

WebHostingDay 2010 has officially kicked off today in the Phantasialand theme park outside of Cologne, Germany and event organizers are expecting to break all previous attendance records once the numbers are added up on Friday.
Organizers of the WebhostingDay 2010, which takes place March 17 to 19, are expecting new attendance record. 3,500 visitors have registered which is a 40 percent increase over 2009’s attendance. SunGard Availability Services announced it has purchased Dublin-based cloud computing and data center operator Hosting 365. The company has two secure data centers, and it was also recently named Ireland’s 25th fastest growing company in the technology field. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
In an annual study conducted by Digital Realty Trust regarding US data centers, 83 percent of respondents stated they had plans to expand its data centers in a year or two. 36 percent said they will expand this year, and 73 percent will add at least two more facilities.
