Dediserve raises $1.3 million for expansion

An Irish-based web hosting provider Dediserve has secured $1.34 million in financing. The funding, which was acquired from a private investment group, will be used to increase staff, data center sites, and pursue expansion via acquisition. The company also announced it will open sites in the US, UK, and Dublin by the end of 2010.

SunGard acquires 365Hosting

SunGard Availability Services announced it has purchased Dublin-based cloud computing and data center operator Hosting 365. The company has two secure data centers, and it was also recently named Ireland’s 25th fastest growing company in the technology field. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

ShareFile’s first data center in Ireland

ShareFile has opened a data center in Ireland, which will allow its customers to download and upload files faster. The company has been placing its servers in different locations around the world to prevent and protect data loss.
