Four people arrested in web hosting equipment fraud

4 people have been arrested due to a web hosting fraud, in which the conspirators gained computer racks and generators by making false representations. A total of 19 defendants were charged for conspiracy mail and wire fraud which lasted for more than 6 years.

New data breach law will require contact with the Secret Service

A data breach law has been introduced four days ago by Senator Dianne Feinstein. The Bill S.139 notes that the United States Secret Service must be contacted if over 10,000 individuals’ records are breached in an isolated incident. There were 656 breached cases in 2008 which is a 47% increase compared to 2007.
