Access Northeast acquires RezZiliant’s hosting division

RezZiliant‘s hosting division is now a property of data center and managed services provider Access Northeast, increasing its base of New England customers for a while. Access Northeast now has four facilities which have a total of 40,000 square feet of space. Other technical resources still belong to the software division of RezZilliant.

Interxion opens second DC in Dublin

DUB2, Interxion‘s second data center in Dublin is now open. The European carrier-neutral DC provider designed DUB2 to meet increasing demand for colocation infrastructure and outsourced managed services. The $16 million project provided 26,425.4 square feet of gross space.

Synetrix-Node3 partnership

Applications and managed services provider Synetrix has partnered with Node4, a data center operator in UK. It initially provided Synetrix with colocation space in two halls at the Derby, UK DC2 data center. Node4’s third data center called DC3 will be opened soon. It also provides Synetrix with office room facilities.

NTT’s second Silicon Valley DC

Telecommunications provider NTT America announced that it has added a second 15,000-square feet data center in Silicon Valley, to cater toward managed and colocation services. Some of its features include carrier-class uninterruptible and back-up power, and 24-hour security features. It also has commitments for network and power availability that pass ASHRAE standards.

Cisco rolls out IronPort, email security services

Cisco has announced a new line of managed email security services called IronPort Email Security. It is aimed at providing businesses with a versatile set of protection offers and it also gives users control over where their email security is deployed and managed.

Microsoft Dynamic Data Center Tool Kit targets hosting companies
