Highwinds acquires BandCon

Internet infrastructure service provider BandCon has been acquired by Highwinds. BandCon’s Content Delivery System compliments the new owner’s multiplatform IP service products. IP transit and transport services, content storage services, and content delivery services are some of the products of the newly merged company.

Access Northeast acquires RezZiliant’s hosting division

RezZiliant‘s hosting division is now a property of data center and managed services provider Access Northeast, increasing its base of New England customers for a while. Access Northeast now has four facilities which have a total of 40,000 square feet of space. Other technical resources still belong to the software division of RezZilliant.

Logic Solutions merges with Arachne Web

Logic Solutions announced that it has merged with Arachne Web Technologies. The deal benefits the customers of Arachne since they can now access the extensive resources of Logic Solutions, which employs over 120 people. The company has headquarters in Ann Arbor and Michigan. It also has offices in Nanjing, China and Shanghai, Beijing.

Pronet Hosting buys CoolHandle

Pronethosting.net has completed the purchase of CoolHandle.com web hosting company, previously owned by Moniker, for the undisclosed amount. The deal positions Pronethosting.net expansion into the value-priced hosting industry. It will also be able to provide reseller, dedicated, and shared hosting to more than 100,000 domains.

$295M Compuware acquisition of Gomez

Web application experience management provider Gomez has been acquired by Compuware, an application performance management software firm. The two companies will provide optimization services for business applications. The deal is expected to close in November this year.

Sedo acquires ParkingPanel

The online domain marketplace Sedo has purchased ParkingPanel, a domain monetizing service provider. ParkingPanel was launched three years ago and it caters primarily to individuals with large domain portfolios. ParkingPanel customers will be merged into the existing Sedo framework, according to sources, and will gain access to Sedo’s advanced monetization engine.

Telivo merges with LCN.com; Telivo brand dropped

LCN.com and Telivo.com has been merged by UK-based Internet service provider Advantage Interactive. LCN brand will overtake Telivo (which will cease to exist), with all customers being moved to under LCN.com. As a result of this merger, LCN now counts over 400,000 hosted domain names under its management.
