Netfirms customers are now able to purchase SSL certificates. Web hosting provider Rackspace has extended its line of offering to Secure Sockets Layer certificates. The company can now directly sell, install, and renew SSL certificates from VeriSign. GoDaddy goes after VeriSign with cheap Extended Validation certificates

GoDaddy is hoping to increase its market share with a $200 Extended Validation certificate offered by the company. An Extended Validation lets a customer use a single certificate on many servers. VeriSign has so far been the leader of SSL certificate sales.

eNom makes deal with VeriSign

Domain registrar eNom and authentification service VeriSign has signed a deal in which eNom resellers can sell its customers VeriSign branded Secure Socket Layer certificates.
