Energy Star certification now available for data centers

Data centers can now earn an Energy Star certification, which requires them to be in the top 25 in energy efficiency in comparison to their competitors. A licensed professional verifies the energy performance of a a facility and should it pass, the US Environmental Protection Agency then approves a certification.
