Web hosting provider Rackspace has extended its line of offering to Secure Sockets Layer certificates. The company can now directly sell, install, and renew SSL certificates from VeriSign. Rackspace is also offering Extended Validation SSL Certificates which help prevent phishing scams. The certificates are available via the customer portal of MyRackspace.com.

Domain registrar eNom and authentification service VeriSign has signed a deal in which eNom resellers can sell its customers VeriSign branded Secure Socket Layer certificates. The resllers can purchase it via the company’s platform-independent API and its PDQ instant reseller solution.
