This is a very sad time for me. Unexpected plans and business overload leave me no choice but to part with four and a half properties that I own found at: http://www.toumanov.com/media.htm

Forum Network for Sale:
http://www.EcommerceTalk.com
http://www.FreelanceTalk.com
http://www.SoftwareTalk.com
http://www.PromotionTalk.com
http://www.StartupTalk.com NEW

Half a year ago (May 2004) I attempted to sell these sites quite successfully. With 2 potential top bidders and buyers, everything would have gone smoothly through if not for questionable thoughts I started to have at the back of my mind. Then a partnership idea came in. So I decided not to sell just yet, hoping for a change that I would have more time to invest in these wonderful properties. Half a year later everything is still the same. I don't have the time nor enough hands to get to them. And we only have 24 hours in a day. It is also time for me to focus on other sites that require continuous attention. So I'm giving it a second try.

Let me just tell you that I was raising these babies from their birth together with a friend of mine and I get all emotional when a thought of saying good bye to these properties passes my mind. I can't stand the process because I know the value for these properties (especially bundled together) when they are well-developed and active.

If you are a responsible and serious human and if you are interested in starting a huge "*talk.com" forum network of highly targeted Internet-related forums, there is no better way than to take over where I left and continue the growth. Start the new year 2005 with some great projects on your hands. I, for once, will never just say good bye and will frequent the forums, maybe help with advice on proper community management and conflict resolution issues (I found out I was pretty good at that).

Why am I selling?
I was recently invited to join an Internet start-up, so I will spend at least 2-3 years working over there. Plus, some of the other properties that I manage leave me almost no time to spend on the four aforementioned forums.

I just know that someone else with enough will and more time on their hands will make these forums precious resources for the world to use.

What's included?
- The 4 forums mentioned above.
- Many great domain (same names with major extensions) that secure the names.
- 4 bulletin owned licenses (due for renewal in March and April 2005).
- I will include EXTRA domains that I got if you would like to continue to grow the network: StartupTalk.com, OpinionTalk.com/.net, OpenSourceTalk.com (received $XXX offers on this one).

About the Forums
With nearly 8-10,000 unique visitors, its all about conversion that will result from more activity on those forum. They are all very easy to remember and are incredibly brandable, especially when working as a bundle.

Potential
I usually do not overtake anything unless there is a huge potential (ROI) involved. The value of the forums will come from these figures:

Owned Licenses (x5): $700
Yearly revenue: $1200 (I was selling $25 worth of banner advertising at one point of time on each forum, which makes it easy $80-100 per month).
Memberships: $250.
Extra domain names: $200.

Keep in mind that it took some time to collect and launch all these forums, due to buying out the beautiful domains to keep the network of forums in line of "talk.com" series. I know that many of the domains were heavily fought for and a lot of investments went into acquiring them (which makes it even harder to part with them).

I firmly believe that with more effort and membership growth, these forums could be established as one of the prime Internet destinations for those subjects from e-commerce to online promotions, thus the revenues would grow.

Those interested (and I will consider only most serious offers) should really care about building a powerful network of forums as I would hate to see them degrade in quality or just disappear. They are worth managing, so I will repeat once again: you have to be a responsible manager should you acquire ownership.

The best thing is that with search engine optimization you can establish that these properties appear when people are searching for keywords like: "freelance", "ecommerce", "promotion, web promotion", "software", and mix of them. These sites are already visited thousands of times due to those keywords.

I think I should specify which domains (that serve as security) come with each property:

EcommerceTalk.com
EcommerceDiscussion.com
EcommerceTalk.net
EcommerceTalk.org
EcommerceTalks.com

SoftwareTalk.com
SoftwareTalk.org
SoftwareTalking.com

FreelanceTalk.com
FreelanceBoard.com
Freelance-Talk.com
FreelanceDiscussion.com
FreelanceTalk.net
FreelanceTalk.org
FreelanceTalks.com

PromotionTalk.com
Promotion-Talk.com
PromotionTalk.net
PromotionTalk.org

GREAT FOR EXPANSION:
StartupTalk.com
OpinionTalk.com/.net
OpenSourceTalk.com ($XXX)
SEOdiscussion.com

Sale would take place sometime in January-February I assume. I'm in no rush to sell these babies, so its all about the ANY best offer. I'm not really interested in selling them separately.

Contact me for the starting price I'm looking for the complete packaged deal. Best offer will win.

Best,
Artashes

Sorry to hear this Art. I was wondering whether you could provide some sort of stats as to the number of hits/day and users on each of the boards? I will send you a prvt message as well.

Since all of them are growing properties, the following stats for all of them are accurate (source: http://www.toumanov.com/MediaGuide.pdf):

Monthly Page Views: 10500+
Unique Visitors: 7300+

Good Luck with this sale. Too bad you are not selling separates sites. It's a little to high for my budget for now.

Christoph, I will sell them separately if I have confirmed buyers for all of them at the same time.

Those particular forums have MASSIVE potential, one would be crazy not to at least consider them, if sufficient financial backing was at the interested parties disposal. If I had some extra money lying around I’d definitely speak in detail with Artashes. Good luck Art, someone’s about to make a very smart investment.

Sounds like an idea, once you jump back onto MSN, we'll have a talk.
