Ran across a result5.google issue this past weekend. Seems that one of my friends was having problems with queries on Google being redirected to advertising pages. Turned out that his router was hacked and his DNS was pointed to Eastern Europe.

Haven't heard or seen anything about that. Do you have any additional info?

Searches on Google return plenty of posts about this. Running anti-virus programs doesn't help as a lot of respondents recommended. Good idea to run anti-virus programs after the router situation is corrected though, as it seems they install a ton of trojan horses and other viruses with it.
