We have been using and subscribing to the DNSstuff checking service for checking domain resolution, email records, etc. on our customers domains for years now.

We are happy with their service, but I was wondering if there are any other good DNS checking services out there that could be used as an alternative, or to double-check on the DNSStuff reports.

What DNS checking service do you use?

http://www.dnsstuff.com has been great site, if you buy their paid services, it can solve ambiguities in seconds.

Exactly, iptools.com is another very good web tool. I have checked it and often use it as well.

Any hosting account you have with ssh should accomidate you

I'd recommend dnssy.com for anyone who needs to check their DNS settings(as the thread is quite old the OP prob doesn't need to anymore).

It's picked up errors that intoDNS didn't.
