Power demand and usage with servers in datacenters is becoming a big issue as density increases in racks and in datacenters overall.

Which processors are the most efficient on power usage, both low end and upper end stuff?

Intel is amazing for CPUs that don't suck a lot of power, I'd suggest looking at their LV (low voltage) models that use even less power.
