A massive electronic data center is being planned to be built roughly within two years by the National Security Agency in Utah. Bids have been invited and the final decision will not be made on the basis of price alone but technical factors as well. The overall supervision will be carried out by the US Army Corps of Engineers.
The data center will be housed within a huge complex of nearly one million square feet while the actual Control Room will cover around one-tenth of that area. The data center would consist of state of the art equipment and will have a raised floor design mainly for the purpose of hiding all the mess of wires below the surface.

While in the USMC, our group reported to the NSA. I love the spectulation as to what it would be used for - in two words - TOP SECRET.

I like where they say price is not just the factor. Gov't jobs are a pain to get, obviously whoever wins it will have to submit one heck of a proposal.
