Hi, I am just wondering how much my domain is worth. I have heard upwards of $3000 for it, and then the other day someone offered me $50 for it. HAHA! I am going to offer him $20 for his car.

No offense emcgfx but all of these "appraisals you are giving are WAY off the mark.
Domain appraisals are based on the real world and not some formula software or online site that gives automated appraisals based on fill in the blanks questions.
No offence taken, I know some apraisals are a bit off. But the value of domains are based on the TLD, Lenght, etc. It is a real world value of this domains. You should see how much google.com for example costs. But if you don't like it, I wont post it again.
Google.com is irrelevant to any domain name argument.
So is Yahoo and Microsoft and every other similar domain.
Google.com was worth $35 USD when it was registered. It was the money invested and the business plan that made it valuable.
Many ONE word domains and short letter domains have value beyond development but it's a very rare thing to find them available.
I call it Godaddy trying to take advantage of suckers by overpricing expiring domains.
Do you have any idea of how many of those domains actually sell for the "advertised" price or how many actually sell at all?
