Yes that is a great idea. I received my first domain name as a gift almost a decade ago.

yeah thats a brilliant idea! Maybe you could build a small website with a bit of info on them and so on? But yeah.. nice birthday present in my opinion

I'd like to tell you that my sister's husband presented a website to their newborn child Alex. He is putting his son's photos there from the date of his birthday, from June till May. Now he is 1 and a half years old boy and has his own site!!!
