Hi friends,

Any one using 1nd1.com for just domains? I want to know about their service since i hate them most just wanted to know how many peoples really like them

1and1 was my first web host and I had a horrible experience. Their servers are pretty slow and their support is almost impossible to get in touch with. I believe I moved from 1and1 to Surreal-Media (specializes in gaming designs).

I've used them for some domain registrations. As such, not a whole lot of service is needed, so there isn't much to say about the level of service provided.

Just my opinion,

I would never use 1and1 again. I have had a few domains with them in the past and it was not a pleasant experience.

Rude support
over billing
charged for domains I had transfered to a different registrar.
complicated propriatary control panel
etc...

Just my opinion though

Never used them. Just looking over some of their VPS & dedicated offers. I hate the "for first 6 months" deals. Just reminds me of all the local companies who screw people over after they've been with them for a while.

Still. I have absolutely no experience with them, so my opinion is based on nothing really..

I registered few domains with them ... never had any problems.
