Hello all,

Just wondering if you know of any registry that supplies Top Level domain name certificates? Had a customer who insists they have always been supplied certificates for their .com domain names. I do not know of any company that supplies these?

10 years ago they would have been issued with a certificate, or for some ccTLDs as recently as 4 yeasr ago, but none of the _registres_ have issued them since then

Some (like Nominet for .uk) let you print a pointless PDF "certificate", and a few *registrars* still do similar, but your client is simply incorrect.

Yep, that's a pretty odd request, I haven't heard of anything like that being done recently...
