Position: Director of New Media

We are a growing public relations consultancy that works with talent, events and organizations/small businesses. Based out of Chicago's south loop, we seek an experienced, innovative web/graphic designer to lead all new media strategies for Kyle Arnett and its clients.

Responsibilities include:

* Oversee web site design, content presentation and overall brand identity of Kyle Arnett
* Conceptualize, design, and produce new media strategy and final art for clients which includes web graphics and promotional material
* Lead design direction for overall site experience and ensure projects adhere to that set design direction
* Design multimedia effects and titles for video editing, motion graphics and presentation materials for PR and corporate events
* Provide creative input for online PR activities
* Coordinator of social networking initiatives
* Responsible for management of Kyle Arnett web site

Requirements:

* AA/AS degree or other comparable training
* Minimum 2 years web design/graphic design experience
* Understanding of new media, social networking, Web 2.0 and other innovative web concepts
* Previous marketing/PR experience is preferred
* Ability to manage multiple priorities
* Solid communication, people and organizational skills
* Advanced working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML and web hosting industry
* Professional in nature.

This is an independent contractor position that pays $25/hour with the possibility of promotion in pay and rank. Telecommunication is acceptable.
