Let me know pricing if anyone of you is reselling WHMCS license for cheap?

there is a company that resells the licences marginally cheaper, but why not support the developer and but a copy direct ? its hardly an expensive application to start with ...

Any amount of savings matter alot to me because my currency is 46 times weaker than Dollar, so while it is a $ for anyone in US, it is 46 bucks for me. Besides, author himself introduced certified reseller concept, so evenif purchased from certified reseller, it is still the same script written by Matt.

If you cant afford it outright, rent it monthly for a while. Afterall the reason you want a billing script is to charge your customers, so you'll be bringing money in ... running a business has costs, get used to that now before it comes as a shock.

every $ you "save" going through a discounting reseller is going to be many $ less for te developer, and so less spent on improving the script ...

why dnt you go for a monthly plan till your business grows, and once you generate enough revenue you can buy a full license

Exactly, what others have said. Start small and build from their. Especially in the hosting business, your profits are not definite and promising, and for you to through out $169 at on time especially when you don't know how long you might keep the business is kinda hard.

If you have a support/billing system with another company WHMCS will give you 15% off. Or you can try to talk to them and they might still give 15% off, those guys are great!

LicensePal is probably going to be one of the cheaper external license providers for WHMCS. They are pretty good people, and will even integrate it into your site design for cheaper than Matt @ WHMCS will. :-)

For new hosting people, you could use modernbill which is free for first 10 users.
