I'd just fork over the cash for a paid system as they are much more professional and easy to manage. My favorite is WHCMS. You can get it for around the same price (per month) as what a couple customers pay for hosting.

I agree with **********, customer support is #1, get something good for cheap that you know will work :-).

I know you say and want free but I would recommend you spend a little and get a lot
whmcs.com is a great billing and ticketing solution for unde $20 a month.
the time you will save will be worth it

Have you tried to test any of this out yet? Some will allow you to do a demo type test to see if its something you need or not.

Here i am really interesed to suggest a good software with chat and other options it is fully free for any number of agents and can be used for ticketing also.

www.livezilla.net

Fantastico installs some free ticketing softwares, and you can get this with keyword " free ticketing software " in google.

I agree with the others. You should pay for a support system as paid systems tend to be of better quality. WHMCS has a built-in support system which gets what we need to do done, pure and simple.

For a free system however, I would recommend Trellis Desk. Its got what you need of a basic helpdesk system, and its really easy to use.

WHMCS is what you should use. It is cheap for monthly, or if you have the money (Which is worth it) buy an owned license.
