We have used WHMAP v2 for more than a year, we recently installed v3 and disliked it more than v2. We have now changed to ClientExec and feel very comfortable with it.

Modernbill here, it has many more features and supports automatic account creation. IMO Clientexec is user friendly, cheaper than modernbill and it's support is also good.

Does Clientexec support auto account creation?

yes it does. An added benefit over modernbill is the ability to charge in multiple currencies with one install :-) It's the only package I know that can do this easily.

it is still lacking in addons etc - but it's coming on leaps and bounds.

After hearing MB 5 will be a re-write of the exsiting v4 (no added extras) core, I have stopped looking forward to seeing it's new release.

Yes WHMAP, is nice, but i like to use Client EXEC... However, it all depends on what your going to be using the billing software for. Gameservers, I would say CE, with a modified order screen. Hosting I enjoy WHMAP.
