Well, what do you people think about it?

I'm not going to swap. I either use Plesk or cPanel, final. But what
about you other people? It's becoming quite popular nowadays,
and quite a lot of data centers supply it as an alternative to
cPanel.

To me it looks dull and bland. I've checked it out, and it is ok. But I
can honestly say, from my point of view, it has nothing special or
better than cPanel or even Plesk or Ensim.
I mean, if it was better than Plesk or Ensim I could then honestly
say "wow - this is good", but featurewise it's to me at the bottom
of the pile - what about the rest of you?

IMHO DirectAdmin does its job well.
It lacks many "extras" like scripts and Fantastico, but the essentials of site & email management exist and work well.

Well, Ensim I think is bad. DirectAdmin though I'm also not too fond of. Although, however, I agree - it's good for the admin, the person who knows what they want and so on. cPanel is very good - but it has so many features that a child could use it without problems.... certainly not good though for the web hosting industry.

Yes, it does lack lots of extras. Although, yes it also does include all the "main" things like e-mail management, file managed and so on.
