Used Plesk and cPanel. Definitely cPanel is the best.

cPanel or Plesk both seems to be very very good for me.

studying the analyses of different hosting companies, the most popular control panel is considered to be cPnael.

Every panel has its strengths. I've worked in the hosting industry for more and a decade. I've worked with ...

Webmin/Virtualmin
DirectAdmin
Plesk
HSP Complete
Ensim
cPanel
Custom Panels
Cobalt Raq
and probably a dozen more I've long forgotten.

Currently, I work with:

Plesk
cPanel

This is mainly due to business reasons. Between these two panels, I see marketshare estimates between 65-80%, excluding proprietary panels such as Godaddy.

Plesk
What I like about Plesk is that is is essentially software on top of your OS. It does not modify default system binaries, such as MySQL, Apache, Perl, etc.

I like this because I can depend on Red Hat to deliver these essential tools and use standard Linux management tools to maintain dozens of servers.

cPanel
cPanel is great for shared hosting where you need to deliver a lot of customization on a per-domain level. From a management standpoint, there are several areas where it creates some problems.

When clients ask me for a panel, I typically recommend Plesk unless they have a need for per-domain customization or are in mass shared hosting markets.

The other Linux panels are used less. So I would evaluate them carefully before deploying them. You can easily find third party support for Plesk and cPanel.

Definitely cPanel for Linux, Plesk for Windows, Webmin for VPS Management.

I use LxAdmin/Kloxo, Webmin, cPanel and DirectAdmin all very regularly on Linux. Out of those, the clear winner for me on all fronts is cPanel. I am sure if there was a proven statistic, it would be that the majority of individuals looking for web hosting out there prefer/look for a host using the cPanel control panel. It is indeed an excellent platform.
