From last few months, all discussions that I have seen point out that Softaculous and Installatron beat Fantastico in every possible way.

Which one is better among Softaculous and Installatro, well that's another discussion. But my vote goes for Softaculous.

I vote for Softaculous. Fantastico is popular and many people are habitual to use it. However Softaculous is the best and provides more scripts. I would prefer Softaculous.

We use installatron, I think it is easier to use than softaculous, specially with Directadmin.

Softaculous for sure. More scripts, but they also have scripts you won't find elsewhere such as Dolphin and WHMCS.

+1 for Softaculous we're taking the plunge next week

Fantastico is pretty much end of life now to be honest

Softaculous would have the win the polls in my opinion. They're selection of scripts are ever-lasting and the fact that the UI is excellent makes it easier on my newbie clients.

Softaculous is the best. It has lots of scripts in its database than any others.I'm using it in my 2 servers on diretadmin and cpanel.

I have not looked into softaculous but from all the positive reviews I am going to have to look into this software.

Fantstico however brings more clients in still I think. All hosts the 'big' hosts still use Fantastico and is still widely marketed. So when a user visits your site they usally know right away what Fantastico is sicne every other host has it. While Softaculous is never and not as well know.
