I gave up on Plesk a little while back. Am using cPanel now. Much better.
Plesk 10.2 was literally driving me crazy. I had a license which enabled me to have gameservers and free Plesk Customer and Business Manager.
However, the customer and business manager repeatedly failed to sync the packages with the Plesk control panel. The payment gateways didn't function properly. And when I finally did manage to get it to work and I set up a test account. The test account didn't sync to the control panel. It said "Error. Package not syncable".
Also, the gameservers refused to ping once I had set them up. So the gameserver addon was also causing me problems.
And just to top the whole thing off, Plesk wouldn't let me install LiveZilla (a live chat system that I've been using for months). It kept failing to write the permissions and I got the error "403 forbidden".
Now I'm back to cPanel I haven't had a single problem since.
I don't know what it is with Plesk but the panel simply doesnt work.
Managed many plesk servers in the past 10 years. There are many better control panels. I do not know how the support is these days but Plesk would be one of my last choices...
Plesk is not the only product of Parallels. Their business is diversified and not just catering the hosting industry. You can create a ticket with plesk support through your DC, I am sure they will be able to fix it and if DC is a partner, you will get priority support from them as well.
