Interesting topic and this community has members from across the globe, do you find certain laws in your country or in another rather strange. If so enlist them.

I find the UK law about Alcohol rather interesting. You require to be 18 to purchase alcohol over the counter or drink alcohol in a bar, 16 to drink beer or wine at a restaurant, 12 to enter a pub and 5 to drink at home with adult permission.

Yes, this seems strange to me. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20827350/

5 to start?
Do you remember when you tried alcohol for the first time?
I was 16 or even 17, probably.

I was probably younger than 5 when I first had a sip of an alcoholic beverage. It's just customary to allow children to drink in small amounts.

I find the P2P rules here in Canada to be good I guess. Technically were allowed to have P2P sharing, one reason why the RIAA hasn't cracked down on Canadians, the law protects is from it.

I also find the UK alcohol law odd, my friend is from the Uk and told me about it. I was pretty surprised, because it seems like the age is different everywhere.

Mexico = drink at any age, no one cares
USA = 21 mostly, some area's 19
Canada = 19 pretty much everywhere..
UK = well seems like a 16 year olds can drink

I've heard that in France, a certain percentage of songs played on the radio must be by French composers.

I have also heard that it is illegal to step on the currency in Thailand, and that you are prohibited from leaving your house without underwear.
